This site is all about finding bliss, finding bliss … and then finding more bliss! And a prime way to do that is through nature. Alexandra Gayek, http://scienceofbeingwell.net, sent a beautiful and inspiring email that I would like to share. Her comment about being in a real-life Disney movie gave me a shiver. Wonderful stuff.

I hope you’ll understand why I couldn’t resist sharing this with you.
Yesterday I noticed a doe (female deer) in the yard who looked VERY pregnant, as if she’d give birth at any moment. Sure enough, an hour or so later, she emerged from the tall grass, licking a new fawn.
How on earth did it ever fit inside her? Ah, the miracles of life!
Shortly, a wild rabbit appeared, about half the size of the fawn. The little deer wandered over to it, sniffing, then began to thoroughly lick that bunny’s ears.
I felt like I was in the middle of a Disney movie. Bambi and Thumper come to life! I never thought this kind of thing happened in the real world. Good grief!
I’ve been melting regularly this spring and summer, in awe of life.
You might enjoy sharing in what I’ve been hearing and seeing as I explore the secret life of the birds and animals around here.
Here’s a very cool website where you can access an incredible free library of bird songs, videos and audios of all kinds of creatures:

Thanks, Alexandra. Finding bliss in your own backyard is awesomely wonderful and I wish I had been there.
