My fast and healthy weight loss day started just fine, for a change. This morning I drank my chocolate cherry wonder drink. Yum and Yum. This was a wonderful morning for two reasons:
I didn’t go through my usual torture about going to the QT (see Day 1). I like my new drink so much that I was not nearly as lured and tempted as I have been in the past and that’s a great thing. Hopefully, soon I won’t even care about going and getting that drink in the morning. I really love my frozen cappuccino but it has 450 calories in it. I rarely drank the whole thing – I would estimate that I drank about 350 calories – but I’m sure that what’s in it is pretty terrible and I know it is loaded with sugar. And now I’m getting organic cherries instead of that drink. Yet in the chocolate drink there are about 10 to 20 calories of almond milk, a few calories for the plain cocoa – and the only other calories are the cherries. The total calorie count HAS to be less than 100. This has to be one of the best diet plans ever to be able to lose weight (I hope!) and drink such great drinks.
The second thing I noticed this morning is that I did not have a headache! If I have been having headaches because I wasn’t getting my morning caffeine then that irritation is over.
My ‘How To Lose Weight Naturally’ Day …
My healthy weight loss diet plan includes tons of different plant products. Eating the food is no problem at all. However, I realize that one of the things that could defeat me is boredom so I’m planning to try new recipes every day so that I’ll have something new to look forward to. I’ve put together a really interesting recipe that is quite tasty.
One can of organic peas
I had some left over cauliflower that I threw in
Minced half of a purple onion
Minced parsley sprigs
Minced garlic
A few chopped up sun-dried tomatoes
4-5 minced olives
I nixed all this up and poured a salad dressing that I had been using over the entire mixture. I put it in the refrigerator and let it get cold. Later in the day I ate a salad with a spoon full of sesame seeds sprinkled on top. It was awesome.
A Weight Loss Diet Menu Problem …
This is a low calorie diet plan that forbids oil and salad dressing is a problem for me. I’m not really happy with my solutions yet so I will keep experimenting until I find something I really love. But what I have been doing so far is mixing V-8 juice, minced garlic and freshly squeezed lime together. Then I throw in some of my cumin and chipotle chili powder. Once this mixture sits for a while it is very tasty.
I wish it worth thicker though. I tried adding some pectin to make it thicker but so far no luck. The only salad dressing I’ve really been thrilled with yet is when I mixed V-8 and orange marmalade together for my fruit salad. I don’t want a sweet dressing, however, on a veggie salad. I will keep experimenting.
