A Marvelous Live Raw Food Recipe

If you’re a big fan of living raw foods, as I am, then you’re probably focused on a live raw food diet. What I miss the most about my former Queen Of The Junk Foods diet is a cold, sweet drink. So far, I have two of them (lucky me! :-) One is the chocolate cherry protein drink which I mentioned in another post. The video below is my second one and is perfect for a raw vegan diet.
FYI: I use
1/2 cucumber
1/2 of a large avocado
One complete lime
About 1 1/2 handfuls of spinach or lettuce
2 envelopes of stevia
Once that mixture is :"liquidy" in my Vitamix, I then just throw in ice until it’s very slushy. As living raw foods go, it’s delicious and is immeasurably healthier than my favorite Sonics peanut butter shake. That doesn’t mean I don’t occasionally get an ice cream shake, though. Cheers!
