The 3 Day Diet plan is an incredibly strict, very low calorie diet, that is supposed to be followed for no more than three days. Which is a darned good thing since the calories are too low for health.
The diet promises a loss of "up to" 10 pounds in those three days. Whenever I see that ‘up to’ though, I know that the weight loss might be significantly less.
The 3 Day Diet is sometimes called " The Cleveland Clinic Diet" but it has been thoroughly repudiated by the Cleveland Clinic, that claims to have no relationship at all.
So who did invent this diet? Nobody is sure, but it has survived for about 20 years.
What You Can Eat On The 3 Day Diet Plan
No deviation is allowed on the 3 Day Diet plan because supposedly the food combinations work some sort of miracle.

Day Three On The 3 Day Diet
+ Breakfast on day three begins with one ounce of cheddar cheese, one apple, five saltine crackers, and tea or coffee with a zero calorie sweetener.

Verdict On The 3 Day Diet Plan
The only value in a restrictive diet like this is if we use it as a kick off or jumpstart to a more serious change of eating. Perhaps a reluctant dieter needs a boost right at the beginning to get her started, but otherwise shy away from this nonsense. Why?
It includes downright dangerous foods like artificial sweeteners and wieners/hot dogs (if you really want to feel ill, do some research into what’s in one of those things!) And it includes food with no value to the human body like saltines and ice cream.
Most of weight lost will be water – which will be gained back as quickly as it disappeared, once the diet is finished.
There is a strong likelihood of a binge after such a restrictive eating pattern.
Of the diets we’ve reviewed so far, the 3 Day Diet Plan is definitely the worst.

I agree this is a terrible diet.

This is indeed an incredibly strict, very low calorie diet. But I think other people can’t make it, some needs much time to loss weight.

This post is very informative. Thank you.
I’d like to make a small input (if I may).
It’s also a great idea to add some spices to your diet and juices.
Spices are known to rev up your metabolism..so you can burn more calories without lifting a finger.
More importantly, they also help you in detoxifying your system.
It helps you in mobilizing the unhealthy toxins around your colon, which (as per research) could be holding as much as 30 pounds in some cases!
5 must-stock ancient spices for weight loss:
1. Mustard Seed: Boosts metabolism
even after up to 25 hrs of consumption.
2. Black Pepper: Helps in faster digestion
and nutrient absorption.
3. Ginger: Hinders cholesterol absorption.
4. Cinnamon: Helps in better processing
of carbs.
5. Cayenne Pepper: Burns fat.
