I would personally never think about buying bedding with horses on it. But horse bedding is quite popular and there are two times it seems to make sense to consider that kind of decorating theme:
#1: you have a younger child in the house and she or he might be horse crazed.
#2: you’ve decorated your home in an outdoor or rustic style.
Horse bedding has the biggest impact when it is a part of the complete western-style decoration. Then there is simply no chance that it will look out of place. Horse bedding will act as an important part of decoration and can substitute for other, more expensive parts of decoration.
For example if you have to wait a few months before you buy a “western-style” bed, horse bedding can act as a temporary replacement to keep your bedroom’s “western” look.
Here are two ways to simplify your choice:
(1) Look closely at the horse in the picture. Bedding might be of highest quality, but the picture might not. If your friends are horse-lovers, they will have a good laugh of your “horse with pig legs”. If you don’t like the picture – find another set of horse bedding to buy.
(2) Consider the overall colors in your horse bedding. For instance, greens are very popular, as are autumn colors of rust and orange. Will this look good in your bedroom? The answer is personal and depends on your overall color scheme.
You can see the horse bedding craze above because there are even curtains with horses on them. Do they have horse toothbrushes? Horse drawer knobs? Horse underwear? OK, now I’m getting just too silly!
