This orange and gold watercolor ghost makes a great Halloween cross stitch pattern for several reasons. The main one, for me, is the color scheme. Almost everyone loves Mother Nature’s autumn theatrical production with her beautiful red, gold and orange leaves and our ghost below matches the theme of this annual fashion show.
Another reason to enjoy this colorful ghost is that it doesn’t look evil or threatening at all. Rather than trying to alarm us (s)he almost looks personally worried. What in the world is our ghost running from? Perhaps one of those ghoulish characters we’ve offered this month? Regardless, even the smallest child won’t be alarmed by this fine ghostly specimen.
If you want to stitch this watercolor Halloween cross stitch pattern, you will need 11 colors of DMC floss and your finished piece will be 200 stitches wide by 242 stitches tall.
