I love the movie Halloween Town and watch it every year around Halloween. There are scenes of jack-o-lanterns on front porches and most of them are friendly and inviting. After all, we don’t want to scare innocent young children. Well, most of us don’t. But this pumpkin cross stitch pattern definitely is not a happy seasonal addition. In fact, he just might give young kids nightmares!
We like all three versions and, since we couldn’t decide which one we preferred, we decided to offer all three. His snarling face and the malicious glint in his eye … well, his skull-like sunken eyes … are nothing compared to those teeth! It looks as though someone or some ‘thing’ spent a lot of time with a sharpener. Don’t turn your back on him and stitch him if you dare.
To make our sinister pumpkin, you will need 7 colors of DMC floss and the piece measures 158 stitches wide by 190 stitches high. He is truly an unfriendly (to say the least) Halloween cross stitch pattern.
