This grinning pumpkin Halloween cross stitch pattern has a pumpkin who thinks he is sinister and scary – but he isn’t really. At least, we don’t think so, especially compared to some of the truly creepy monsters we’ve posted in this halloween month. Compared to our Halloween ghoul, for instance, this little fellow is a pussy cat.
He is glowing from within, which is fun, and we love the witch’s hat on his head. He looks more merry than frightening, though. Sorry Mr. Pumpkin.
There are two versions: one with this colors-of-autumn background and one on a plain white background so that you can choose your own colors. Black might be nice?
To stitch this adorable Halloween pumpkin, you will need 12 colors of DMC floss and he measures 240 stitches wide by 211 stitches high.
