The typical Halloween witch is old, ugly, evil and often has a giant nose with a wart on it. But folklore and countless stories tell us that not all witches are like this. In fact, there are many good witches – think Glenda in the Wizard of Oz. This watercolor Halloween cross stitch pattern must surely show a good one and her beauty is undeniable.
Our witch is definitely a fashion plate. Notice her sexy, slinky dress that is slit up the side, her black high heels with the ankle strap and her fingerless fishnet gloves. Her hat and cape are attractive and she looks like she’s having a grand time flying against the full moon with her bat friends. Actually, I’d like to be up there with them. :-)
If you want to stitch our witch cross stitch pattern, you will need 14 colors of DMC floss and she is 243 stitches wide by 245 stitches tall.
