Jukari Makes Working Out Exciting

What Is Jukari?

Jukari is actually a collaborative effort between Reebok and Cirque de Soleil. Yes, a shoe company and a performance troupe have combined efforts to create a fitness program. Curious yet?

Jukari Fit to Fly combines suspension, aka flying through the air, with a full strength and cardio workout. The workout is designed around a single piece of exercise equipment.

The piece is called a FlySet. It’s like a low-hanging trapeze suspended from the ceiling of your gym. No worries about falling injuries. If you were to hang from it by your arms, your feet would touch the ground. The Jukari Fit to Fly Workout is designed to be “a workout that gives the sensation of flying while strengthening and lengthening the body through cardio, strength, balance and core training.”

Some of the moves include the:

* Snow angel
* Full moon
* Frog Jump
* Woodpecker
* Hanging Bicycle

Jumping, springing, flying, skipping and running – it’s essentially playing and working out at the same time. It’s tremendously fun, exhilarating and a whole lot of hard work.

Getting Started with Jukari

At this point in time it’s a little tricky to find a Jukari program in most cities. However, you can visit the Reebok website and request to bring Jukari to your gym. The great thing about Jukari is that it doesn’t require any special gear.

They gym provides the FlySet bars. All you need to do is bring the enthusiasm and energy. You may want to wear a comfortable pair of fitness shoes and exercise clothing. Jukari Fit to Fly is just the beginning. There’s a new program Jukari Fit to Flex that incorporates the use of a long scarf like piece of fabric. This program incorporates dance moves with flexibility and strength moves.

Whether you enjoy Jukari Fit to Fly or Jukari Fit to Flex, they’re both beautiful to watch and seriously fun. If you’re looking for a full body workout that challenges your body and moves your spirit, take a look at Jukari. It may be the most fun you ever have working out.
