A body detox is a powerful way to restore health to the most ailing body. Decades of research has shown that we need to keep ourselves clean inside, just as we do outside. I’m sure that you wouldn’t go weeks without showering or bathing. If we need to clean our teeth and hair imagine how much we need to “wash” our organs and inner systems that are responsible for keeping us alive.
Further, a thorough detox will restore lowered energy and help to repair the damage done by our highly-polluted civilization and lifestyle.
Many think that the only folks who need to detox are those who have seriously overindulged with such substances as alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs but this is totally false. The human body has a inborn detox system that does its best to remove the garbage of junk food, caffeine, carbonated drinks, alcohol, tobacco, drugs and chemical/electrical pollution. The problem is that this biological guard system was created hundreds of thousands of years ago when life was simpler and the vast majority of mankind died only a few short miles from the home in which they were born. Even though your body is doing its best to protect you it is almost certain to be overwhelmed at some point in your life.
In short: without YOUR help, your physiology cannot protect itself.
One of the much-desired benefits of body detox is fast weight loss. Our liver and kidneys are the primary detox organs of the body and any effort to relieve their stress is definitely going to result in increased health – and weight loss!
Further, without help it’s quite likely that your immune system will either break down or become so impaired that it can no longer function adequately.
It’s obvious that it’s wise to periodically remove all the toxins in our body. A full body detox diet plan using raw vegetables and fresh fruits is especially recommended for young individuals whose bodies have been subjected to high levels of alcohol, burgers and pizzas.

DIETS: Body detox diets vary but typically involve eating or drinking nothing but raw, steamed or gently stir-fried vegetables and fruit, pulses, sprouted seeds, thin soups, juices and plain cereals such as brown rice, millet or buckwheat.
EXERCISE: Start using the benefit of exercise to cleanse and detoxify your body. Exercise increases oxygen to your system and raises your body temperature, in effect combining oxygen therapy and hypothermia. Exercise detoxification is an effective method of cleansing many vital organs simultaneously and should become a regular part of your life. There are lots of exercise programs and plans out there, or justwalking for at least 12-15 minutes a day is beneficial to the colon function.
DEEP BREATHING: The simplest form of administering oxygen therapy is through a simple deep breathing exercise.
A Full Body Detox In The Shortest Possible Time
The shortest way to a full body detox is drink nothing but water for several days and many health authorities recommend this.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WAY TO DETOX YOUR BODY!!!
I’ve tried this twice and both times was violently ill. When I say “violently” I am being literal. I spent two-three days in either the bathroom or bed. Some claim this is great because it works so quickly. But I do not believe that it’s healthy to deliberately do such violence to our bodies.
What I suggest is a combination of raw juices made in a real juicer, plus plenty of fruit and raw and lightly cooked vegetables.
Juice: I have a Greenstar juicer that is wonderful and my favorite juice is carrot and apple which I drink every morning during a detox. I also eat lots of raw fruit – whatever is in season – for breakfast.
NOTE: bottled juices won’t do it! You need raw juice that is loaded with enzymes. Also, drink all your juice within a short time of making it, if possible. The longer it sits, the less valuable it is.
Fruit & Vegetables: whenever possible, I buy organic – but it isn’t always possible. Either steam or ickly stir-fry your veggies because this will preserve as much of their value as possible.
Water: drink lots and lots of water. Adding lemon juice to each glass will speed your detox. Drink as much as you can!

Yeah, i am planning on a detox. Today is my day 1. But, i am not eliminating carbs completely. Junk food is kept to a minimum. Diet control is great for you.
