I don't have a scale so I have to use someone else's. So Thursday morning I got on the evil thing (OK, scales aren't evil if they give me good news :-) and was amazed and happy and thrilled and ecstatic and … well, you get the idea. I don't know exactly what I weighed when I started the wheat free diet but I've lost at least 10 pounds!
What's more amazing about that number is:
1. It hasn't even been three weeks since I started.
2. I ''cheated'' on three different days. I didn't do it on purpose but I thought the Ezekiel products were gluten free but apparently they're not.
When I was younger I was thin. The times I felt 'fat' then are laughable now. But when menopause started, so did the weight gain. I've tried so many different ways to lose weight and NONE of them worked. Until now. It's really a great feeling. Three cheers for a wheat free diet, especially since I'm not suffering or depriving myself of anything.
