Choose A Natural Headache Remedy Rather Than Dangerous & Expensive Headache Medications, Part 2

Written by Sydney Johnston Leave a Comment

headache-remedyIn Part 1 of this article about choosing a natural headache remedy, instead of a dangerous drug, we discussed the dangers specific to:

* Over-The-Counter Pain Relievers
* Prescription Pain Relievers
* Vasoconstrictors
* Beta Blockers
* Calcium Channel Blockers
* Antidepressants

Here we mention five natural remedies for headaches that CANNOT POSSIBLY HURT YOU! That is no small thing.

Why Suffer Harmful Side Effects? Try a Natural Headache Remedy Instead

1. APPLES

Apples are an effective natural remedy for all types of chronic headaches. Remove the core of the apple and sprinkle some salt on each slice. If you eat this every morning on an empty stomach, you should notice results within a week.

2. HENNA

Henna flowers are especially effective for headaches caused by the sun. Rub the flowers in vinegar and apply them to the forehead.

3. CINNAMON

Cinnamon can provide relief for headache caused by cold air. Mix the cinnamon with water and stir until you have a fine paste. Apply this to your forehead and temples.

4. LEMONS

Try squeezing the three or four slices of lemon into a cup of tea or hot water. Many headache sufferers claim this provides immediate relief. The peel of the lemon is effective for headaches caused by heat. You can grind the peel into a fine paste and apply it to your forehead, or you can apply fresh peels to each temple.

5. ROSEMARY

The herb rosemary is a great headache remedy for those that result from exposure to the cold. Boil a couple tablespoons of rosemary in about a quart of water. Cover your head with a towel and inhale the steam for as long as you can.

If you need a headache remedy, try one of these five natural ones, first. You can always bring out the heavy-duty drugs later, if necessary.
