How To Sell Used Car and Light Truck Parts on eBay: 31 Videos Course on a DVD

Written by Sydney Johnston Leave a Comment

How To Sell Used Auto Parts on Ebay teaches you how to safely and profitably sell used car and light truck parts on eBay.

Ebay sells approximately 2 MILLION used car parts every month and sellers have a HUGE audience because:

1) It’s often hard for drivers to find parts for older cars and they may be desperate
2) Owners welcome a bargain and you can fill that need (and still make a profit!)
3) There is a huge supply of used auto parts available but most car owners don’t know where to find them
4) This is a very simple business model
5) The number of used cars is growing, not shrinking, so this is a long term business.

This is a perfect example of high demand and low product. In fact, small sellers like us are often the ONLY game in town!

FINDING YOUR CAR & LIGHT TRUCK PARTS

If you live in a medium to large metropolitan area there are easy ways to find the used parts you need. But it’s not only about finding parts – you need to be able to make a profit on them.

You can see my prices – and eBay prices. Nice profit margins there.

Notice how inexpensive those parts are ($10.75 and $12.50). There’s no huge risk with this business model.

AVOID COSTLY MISTAKES

How To Sell Used Auto Parts on Ebay will also help you avoid mistakes! For example, I thought that selling part for high end cars was a really GREAT idea.

WRONGO! And our course tells you why to avoid these beauties.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS

You will need to make some decisions and it helps to know them in advance.

Example #1: some car parts need to ‘work’ – example, a carburetor. I know absolutely nothing about carburetors (and don’t want to learn!) so I prefer safer parts like insignias, mirrors, panel pieces, which aren’t as profitable as working parts, but are less trouble. Which do YOU prefer?

Example #2: my son-in-law doesn’t mind meeting people in public places so he will sell a car door or an entire panel and make a nice piece of money. I never do that, preferring to deal by mail so my profit-per-item is much less than his. Which do YOU prefer?

ACTION PLAN NEEDED!

The 31 videos in the course will teach you everything you need to know – from how to acquire your parts, how to list them for sale on eBay and how to ship them out in a way that maximizes your profits and makes buyers very happy. Here is the course outline:

CAN EVERYBODY FOLLOW THIS BUSINESS MODEL?

If you live in a tiny town or a very rural area our way of finding parts may not work for you. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any parts – it’s just that the methods mentioned in this course may not apply to your part of the world. And we’re only familiar with the US. We aren’t familiar with other countries. Other than that, there are no restrictions on who can make money selling used car and light truck parts on eBay.
