The acai berry phenomenon has been labeled a fad, but that is simply not true. "Fad" implies short-term and the acai berry has been consumed by residents in South and Central America for as long as anyone can remember. While blueberries are more common where I live (we can pick them locally in our area for free), I do occasionally eat Acai Berries, which are equally high in anti-oxidants. They’re great in smoothies or on my morning cereal!

I love blueberries also they also provide an abundance of antioxidants i pick them right outside my back door here in Ontario,Canada. Acai berries are good to but i can only get juice or powders i have never eaten them raw but would love to try them.
