Do we REALLY believe that putting stuff like “cyclohexasiloxane” or “ethylhexylglycerin” on our skin is a good idea?
And, let’s take a closer look at some of the ingredients in black print that are recognized as “safe”:
* Stearic Acid: “Most often refers to a fatty substance taken from the stomachs of pigs. Can be harsh, irritating“. (Do you REALLY want that on your face?) [http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredient/706311/STEARIC_ACID/]
* Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid: hyaluronic acid is fine – but this version has hydrogen gas pumped through it.
* Phospholipids: commonly used and considered to be low risk – but 74,449 studies in the PubMed science library may include information on the toxicity of this chemical!
If you make your own natural skin care products, they will be custom made for YOUR skin and no one else’s. Just because something works for your sister or best friend doesn’t mean it’s right for you.
