Juicer recipes are liquid gold (or should we say platinum? iridium?) for those of us interested in maintaining radiant, glorious health right up to the moment of our last breath. “Everybody knows” that fruits and vegetables are loaded with incredible health benefits – but the only problem is that it’s tough to get enough of them. Juice recipes are a great way to get all those enzymes, vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals without eating pounds of produce every day.
WHY You Want To Juice Regularly
They’re easy to prepare – if you have a juicer, of course. They CANNOT be made in a blender. You can tell if you have a good juicer by squeezing the pulp left after you’ve juiced.
If it’s very “liquidy” you’re wasting a lot of good stuff. If you think you’re going to be drinking a lot of juice in your life, here’s the way to look at a juicer:
* You’re going to spend more money at first when you buy your juicer, or …
* You’re going to waste money on expensive produce
Long-term, it’s cheaper to buy a good juicer. And if you buy a powerful masticating juicer you will get the best of both worlds because the juicer will extract even more enzymes, trace minerals, vitamins and fiber. This juicer literally chews up the fiber of fruits and vegetables.
Juices are very quick. It’s much faster to squeeze some juice than to prepare a meal, especially a cooked meal.
The goodness of juices hits your system much more quickly than food which must be eaten. In mere minutes, the glorious vitamins and enzymes will be racing through your veins.
Juice also hydrates your body. It’s a proven fact that almost none of us in the modern world get enough liquid and all sorts of ailments later in life are credited to insufficient internal moisture.
Juices require no digestion so whenever you drink them you are giving your body a rest. Instead of spending huge amounts of energy digesting burgers and fries, your poor over-worked body can spend time cleaning out – alias, detoxing.
Juices supply quick energy – but your energy won’t crash quickly like a ‘sugar high’ will.
So, here are five juicer recipes that are tasty and bursting with Good Things for your body. The directions are simple:
* Put through your juicer…
* Whisk all the juices together …
* Drink up …

Vegetable juice doesn’t taste all that great but carrot is the exception. It’s much sweeter than other veggies and tastes OK by itself. The green juices are the worst when it comes to taste – very bitter. They’re extremely healthy, though. Are you planning to try the anti aging or the free radical recipe? The one with oranges will definitely taste better, although I like parsley.
