We recently met a lovely lady named Kathy who is interested in one of our Halloween cross stitch patterns of a ghost in a graveyard. As stitchers ourselves, we;re always interested in what other needleworkers are doing and Kathy shared this fabulous cross stitch piece of a witch floating over a fire while multiple spooky pumpkins look on and bats circle the sky. We can also spy a house that surely is haunted.
You can’t see the detail in this piece but we can assure you that this is truly a work of art. The witch above looks rather evil but she has a black cat friend – or familiar? – and no cat can be evil. As a cat lover I insist upon their goodness. :-)
Here is the piece that Kathy is going to do next. She estimates that it will take her about a year and a half. We’ll be here waiting when she’s ready to show it off. Kathy obviously likes Halloween and she’s a gal after my own heart since it’s my favorite time of year. Thank you Kathy for adding beauty to the world.
