Organic Face Cream A Must!

Written by Sydney Johnston 3 Comments

One reason that an organic face cream is a ‘must’ is that it isn’t loaded with preservatives. I have been accused of being an alarmist for even caring about such an issue. After all, what’s the big deal about a dab of preservative in a face cream? It’s only a small amount and it’s outside our bodies, anyway.

Wrongo! Here’s why you should care about organic products, too.

Reason #1 For An Organic Face Cream

The skin is a highway, not an impenetrable concrete wall. There are four main organs of excretion in the body: the lungs, the kidneys & bladder, the colon and … (drum roll) … the primary organ of elimination is the skin! If toxins and poisons can leave the body, it’s obvious that they can enter it, too. If that weren’t so, standard first aid items like Neosporin or hydrogen peroxide wouldn’t work – they would just ‘sit’ on your skin and do nothing for healing.

Reason #2 For An Organic Face Cream

Here is a partial list of what’s in your body right this moment:

* Pesticides …
* Herbicides
* Chemicals of every possible kind …
* Parasites and their wastes …
* Heavy metals …
* Molds …
* Fungus …
* Yeasts …

Do you REALLY want to add more junk for your poor overburdened body to handle?

And don’t think that your skin care products aren’t adding to this dreadful burden. And it doesn’t matter how famous the product is or how much it cost. A great example is Dr. Denese Vitamin C serum. I was using this on my face – until I discovered that often these cosmetics are made YEARS before we get our hot little paws on them! Vitamin C, in particular, should be fresh because it is easily oxidized. If this has occurred, the vitamin C serum will turn yellow gold … well, take a close look at the cotton ball. Looks like an egg, doesn’t it? That means I was using that stuff on my face. My goal, of course, was to improve my face and I was unwittingly harming it.

In our CDs on natural skin care products, we show you how to make your own organic face cream. It’s not only as healthy and organic as you wish to make it, but it’s much cheaper than the brand name products.

Please understand that this is the only way for YOU to have the power, for YOU to be in charge. If you don’t know what’s in this stuff, you are going to be at the mercy of the manufacturer and you will not be surprised to learn that there are a lot of games being played with these ingredients.

And, by the way, teach your young daughters, nieces – and your sons – to insist upon healthy skin care products. Imagine if our kids and grandkids grew up rejecting junk and insisting upon products like organic face cream and natural skin care products. The manufacturers would be forced into changing their ways … and not by government action but out of self interest, the strongest possible motivator.

    What are some examples of organic face product brands? I live in a very small town – where can I get them online?

    I agree that you really need to watch out for harmful chemicals in anything that you put on or in your body. I always watch for pesticides and chemicals when choosing products.

    I just heard from a friend that she tried this one product, called Fiore, it’s totally new, organic and NO preservatives, so I asked her to get it for me, I’ve been using it for about a month now, and I can’t tell how amazing my skin feel and looks…my skin is naturally very dry and I thought I had a condition, so I went to the doctor and he prescribed more chemical stuff that dried out my skin even more. Now I keel getting compliments and even my doctor is interested in what I’m using. Anyway, I will try to track down the website for you. You should totally try it. :-) Dana
