Our guest author today writes for a French site and it’s especially interesting to see how our friends in other countries manage their beauty routines (and lives). Isabelle is writing today about our ‘crowning glory’ – hair. I don’t know about you but often my hair is a ‘crowning mess’, instead of glory, so all advice is welcome.
One of the questions that people often asked is how take care of their hair. Indeed our hair is an important part of our body and it is essential that we care for it if we want to improve our appearance. In this article I will be providing five tips to take care of your hair and I hope that they will be useful for you.
Proper Shampoo
It is important that you choose your shampoo with care and make sure that it is appropriate for your hair type. However it is not advised to wash your hair daily since you will only make your hair and scalp dry. Indeed there is some oil that is produced by your scalp and washing your hair too regularly will only make it dry. You should also make sure that you rinse your hair well and remove any excess shampoo from your scalp.
Appropriate Brushing
It is important that you use an appropriate brush for your hair and make sure that you do it regularly. This will help distribute the natural oils produced by the scalp across your hair and thus give a brilliant shine to your hair.
Eat Plenty of Vegetables
If you are really interested in having a healthy hair you should make sure that you have a balanced diet. For instance, consuming a lot of dark vegetables will provide all the necessary nutrients such as vitamins A and C in order to develop healthy hair.
Omega 3
It might also be important that you have adequate amount of Omega 3 in your diet. This nutrient is often cited as being useful for hair growth. Omega 3 is found in fish, such as salmon, tuna, and halibut, other seafood including algae and krill, some plants, and nut oils.
Dry Your Hair Properly
As much as possible it might be a good idea that you dry your hair naturally rather than making use of a hair dryer. Dryers tend to cause your hair and scalp to become excessively dry and thus make your ends become frizzy. Also make sure that you do not hold the dryer too close to your hair.
Our hair is an important part of our body and it is essential that we take proper care of it. This can be done by some proper washing and brushing techniques and also by making sure that you consume a proper diet.
